Senior QA Automation

As an experienced QA Automation Engineer at our team in Bangalore, you will be responsible for automating web and mobile applications, conducting API testing, performance testing, and integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines. Your primary focus will be on ensuring high-quality standards, delivering scalable and reliable test automation solutions, and collaborating with various stakeholders to identify and address issues efficiently. Your responsibilities will include designing, implementing, and maintaining automated tests for web applications using Selenium, as well as developing and executing automated tests for mobile applications (iOS/Android) using Appium. You will create and execute automated tests for RESTful APIs using Rest Assured, including testing authentication mechanisms like OAuth and JWT, validating status codes, and ensuring proper response structure in JSON/XML formats. You will also be involved in developing and maintaining reusable and scalable test automation frameworks following best practices such as the Page Object Model and Data-Driven Testing. Integrating automated test cases into CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitLab CI, performing cross-browser testing, load testing, and ensuring optimal performance under different conditions will be part of your role. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure comprehensive test coverage. To be successful in this role, you must have a minimum of 7 years of overall experience with at least 5+ years in test automation, expertise in Selenium, proficiency in Appium, strong experience with Rest Assured, proficiency in Java programming for test automation, experience with GitLab CI, and a strong understanding of end-to-end testing methodologies for both web and mobile applications. Knowledge of version control tools like Git, experience with mobile device emulators/simulators, and cloud-based testing platforms like BrowserStack are also required. Qualifications for this position include a BE/B.Tech or Equivalent degree in Computer Science or related field, along with excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
