• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Python (FastAPI / Django / Flask) and Node.js (NestJS / Express)
• Build and optimize REST APIs
• Work with relational and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis)
• Implement authentication, authorization, and security best practices (JWT, OAuth, RBAC)
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability
• Collaborate in architecture discussions and technical design reviews • Mentor junior developers and review code
• Work with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipelines, deployments, and monitoring
• Troubleshoot production issues and participate in on-call support when required.
• 4+ years of backend development experience
• Strong expertise in Python and Node.js
• Experience with modern backend frameworks (FastAPI, Django, NestJS, Express)
• Solid understanding of API design principles
• Strong SQL knowledge and database design experience
• Experience with message queues and background jobs (RabbitMQ, Kafka, SQS, Celery)
• Knowledge of containerization (Docker) and cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP)
• Familiarity with unit testing, integration testing, and test automation
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
• Experience with microservices architecture
• Exposure to frontend frameworks (React, Next.js)
• Experience with serverless architectures
• Knowledge of system design and scalability patterns
