Senior python Django Developer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Python / Django Developer to join our dynamic team. You will lead the development of scalable web applications, design robust backend systems, and mentor junior developers to deliver high-quality code and innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain web applications using Python and Django Framework.
• Build and integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services.
• Ensure code quality, scalability, and performance optimization.
• Manage database architecture and optimize queries (PostgreSQL / MySQL).
• Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements.
• Lead technical discussions, code reviews, and provide mentorship to team members.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems.
• Implement best practices in software development, version control, and deployment.
• Work closely with the project manager and stakeholders to deliver projects on time.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Python and Django Framework.
• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and design patterns.
• Experience with Django Rest Framework (DRF) and API development.
• Proficiency in SQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL).
• Experience with Git, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Good understanding of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.

Preferred Skills (Good to Have):

• Experience in React.js, Vue.js, or other modern front-end frameworks.
• Knowledge of Celery, Redis, and asynchronous task processing.
• Experience in microservices architecture or GraphQL.
• Exposure to Agile / Scrum methodologies.
