Senior Python Developer

About the Role

We’re seeking a Senior Python Developer with strong expertise in backend development using Python, Django, and FastAPI with Excellent debugging, optimization, and problem-solving skills The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience building scalable systems, working with PostgreSQL, and deploying services on Azure Cloud. You’ll be part of a collaborative engineering team, focused on creating efficient, secure, and reliable backend solutions for modern web applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using Python (Django/FastAPI).
• Build and manage database schemas and queries using SQLAlchemy ORM and PostgreSQL.
• Integrate and manage messaging queues such as RabbitMQ, Kafka, or Azure Service Bus.
• Containerize and orchestrate applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Deploy, monitor, and maintain services on Azure Cloud (or other major cloud platforms).
• Ensure REST API best practices, authentication, and security measures are implemented.
• Collaborate with frontend, DevOps, and QA teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Debug, optimize, and continuously improve backend system performance.

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum 5+ years of professional experience in software development.
• Strong command over Python, Django, and FastAPI frameworks.
• Proficient with SQLAlchemy ORM and PostgreSQL.
• Experience with messaging systems (RabbitMQ, Kafka, Azure Service Bus, etc.).
• Solid understanding of Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience deploying and managing services on Azure Cloud (or similar platforms).
• Good understanding of REST API design, authentication, and microservices.
• Excellent debugging, optimization, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to frontend technologies such as Angular, React, or JavaScript.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, monitoring tools, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Familiarity with testing frameworks (pytest, unittest) and code quality tools.
