Job Title: Sr. Project Manager

Key Responsibilities::

1. Project & Client Management

• Act as the single point of contact for assigned clients and projects.
• Manage project life cycles from manuscript handover to final delivery (print, XML, eBook, or digital output).
• Understand client specifications, style guides, and delivery expectations.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with international publishing clients
• Handle escalations and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Conduct regular review calls with clients and internal teams.

2. Production Planning & Execution

• Plan project schedules, milestones, and resource allocation across pre-editing, copyediting, typesetting, and proofing stages.
• Monitor throughput and manage delivery commitments.
• Implement process automation and workflow optimization where possible.

3. Quality & Process Management

• Ensure adherence to client SLAs on quality, schedule, and budget.
• Conduct root cause analysis for quality issues and implement preventive actions.
• Work closely with QA and Technical teams for workflow improvements.
• Support internal and external audits, and maintain documentation of project processes.

4. Reporting & Analytics

• Track KPIs: on-time delivery, quality score, and cost efficiency.
• Prepare project status reports, dashboards, and management summaries.
• Identify risks and propose mitigation strategies.

Objectives of the Role/KPI

• Should meet delivery targets without fail.
• Daily reports should be submitted to the account manager.
• Update all team members on quality issues by holding quality meetings on a regular basis.
