Senior Project Manager - Mining and Metals

As a potential candidate, your role at our company will involve the following responsibilities and qualifications: Role Overview: - You will be responsible for managing medium to large EPCM and EPC projects in the mining or heavy industry sectors. - Your role will include managing preliminary studies and multidisciplinary engineering teams, as well as project control, procurement, and construction management teams. - You should have in-depth knowledge of modern project management methodology and possess efficient time management and decision-making skills. - Building collaborative relationships with personnel, clients, and suppliers will be a key aspect of your role. Key Responsibilities: - Bachelor's degree in Engineering and membership of the Ordre des ingnieurs du Qubec are essential qualifications. - You should have at least twenty years of relevant work experience in project management. - Experience in managing projects in the mining or heavy industry sectors, as well as international projects, is a plus. - Strong negotiation skills, excellent communication abilities in English and French, and advanced knowledge of MS Office are required. - Possessing a PMP certification from the Project Management Institute and experience with construction sites are considered assets.
