This role provides a great opportunity to serve as an Agile Project Manager / Scrum Master on the direct and interrelated projects related to a new Citco application development project, and existing technology projects while establishing Agile methodologies. You will have proven experience working in the financial industry and in managing multiple fast-paced projects with competing priorities. You must also be able to demonstrate experience in managing stakeholders and delivering project reporting to executive teams and collaborating with teams in multiple locations. Experience in coaching project teams to understand and adopt agile principles is a plus.

Your Role:

• Manage projects and the SDLC (Software Development Lifecycle) involving the development of project charters, plans, budgets, resource utilization plans and project road maps
• Manage various project phases including requirements gathering, development, QA, automation testing, UAT, performance testing, and finally, production and post-production support
• You will lead daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives, demo s sprint/release planning, backlog grooming and story mapping sessions.
• You will work closely with product owners and the scrum teams to develop and maintain a project story map that defines the minimum viable product.
• You will oversee all activities from a software development life cycle perspective including budget planning, scheduling, tracking, initialization, build, test, and release.
• Maintain and document the status of projects on a day-to-day basis (in JIRA and Confluence reports , e-mail communications and otherwise), and highlight/assist with resolving any blockers, ensuring stakeholders are apprised of the status regularly.
• Maintain the project Risk Registry, including adding any relevant risks, monitoring, mitigating and resolving as needed.
• You will need to manage/mitigate risks and/or cross-project dependencies.
• Track project velocity (ensuring that Sprints are not over-allocated), and track budget (ensuring that the project is not running at a high deficit).
• Assist the Product Owners in maintaining road maps (in structure and otherwise) and ensure that Sprints are well defined for each upcoming release.

About You:

• University degree, preferably in computer science or Information Systems or equivalent
• 8+ Years of total Project Management experience inclusive of 3 years of experience in establishing Agile methodologies such as Kanban and Scrum
• PMP and/or CSM designation preferred
• Proven skills that demonstrate ability to influence project teams and stakeholders
• Experience participating in the development of an application technology roadmap
• Ability to manage multiple projects with teams spread across multiple locations and time zones
• Excellent written and communication skills
• Highly self-motivated, energetic, strong work ethic and results-oriented with the ability to inspire performance excellence in distributed teams
• Knowledge of Cloud Services (preferred)
• Availability and willingness to travel occasionally to other Citco locations including the US
