Position Overview

The Senior Executive Production will be responsible for managing day-to-day production operations across Casting, Fabrication, Press Shop, Polishing Shop, Bending, and Assembly at the Khardi plant. The role involves ensuring output targets, maintaining quality standards, optimizing resources, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. The candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams such as Quality, Maintenance, Planning, and Safety.

Key Responsibilities

1. Production Management

• Plan, coordinate, and oversee production activities for Casting, Fabrication, Press Shop, Polishing Shop, Bending, and Assembly lines.
• Ensure achievement of daily, weekly, and monthly production targets across all departments.
• Monitor process parameters and ensure adherence to SOPs and work instructions.
• Optimize manpower, materials, and machine utilization to improve overall productivity.

Quality Assurance

• Ensure products from all processes (casting, press operations, polishing, bending, and assembly) meet defined quality specifications.
• Coordinate with the Quality team to address quality deviations and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Drive reduction in rejection rates and rework, and improve process consistency.

. Process Improvement

• Identify opportunities for cycle time reduction, productivity enhancement, and waste minimization across all shops.
• Lead Kaizen, 5S, and Lean manufacturing initiatives in production areas.
• Support implementation of automation or technology upgrades in press operations, polishing, bending, and assembly processes.

Resource & Inventory Management

• Coordinate with planning and materials teams to ensure timely availability of raw materials, bought-out parts, and consumables.
• Maintain accurate production, WIP, and inventory records.
• Ensure proper handling, storage, and movement of materials between shops and assembly lines.

Team Leadership

• Supervise and mentor shopfloor operators, technicians, and supervisors across all production areas.
• Conduct regular training sessions on safety, quality, machine operation, and process improvements.
• Promote a culture of accountability, discipline, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

Compliance & Safety

• Ensure adherence to all statutory, safety, and environmental regulations across production areas.
• Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments in press shop, polishing, bending, and assembly areas.
• Drive initiatives for continual improvement in workplace safety and ergonomics.
