Senior Product Support (Non Linux)

Role Overview: You will be responsible for proactively maintaining and developing all Windows/Linux infrastructure technology to ensure a 24x7x365 uptime service. Your role will involve engineering systems administration-related solutions for various project and operational needs, maintaining best practices on managing systems and services, and proactively monitoring system performance and capacity planning. Additionally, you will manage software upgrades, patches, and hot fixes on servers, workstations, and network hardware, as well as create and modify scripts or applications to perform tasks. Collaboration with other teams to develop automation strategies and deployment processes will be a key aspect of your responsibilities. Key Responsibilities: - Proactively maintain and develop Windows/Linux infrastructure technology - Engineer systems administration-related solutions for project and operational needs - Maintain best practices for managing systems and services - Monitor system performance and capacity planning - Manage software upgrades, patches, and hot fixes - Create and modify scripts or applications for task automation - Provide input on enhancing stability, security, efficiency, and scalability - Collaborate with teams to develop automation strategies - Articulate standard methodologies during implementation - Knowledge and expertise in OS clustering, partitioning, and virtualization - Familiarity with Linux scripting languages, services like Bind, Apache, MySQL, and configuration management tools like Ansible - Understanding of load balancing, firewalls, and network tools - Proficiency in virtualization technologies such as Xen, VirtualBox, VMware - Ability to build and monitor services on production servers - Knowledge of servers and switches Qualifications Required: - Experience Range: 4-8 years - Qualification: B.E/B.Tech Additional Company Details: The company values individuals who are self-starters, team players with a positive attitude and open-mindedness for learning, possess good communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills, and are able to create technology and tool evaluation reports.,
