Job Description

As a Support Engineer Professional at Mettler Toledo, you will be responsible for providing technical support for assigned applications, troubleshooting issues, documenting support cases, cooperating with Product Managers on customer support cases, and assisting in software products testing. Additionally, you will provide pre-sales support, support market organizations in customer projects off- and on-site with assigned applications installations, train market organizations and end-customers, write technical documentations like knowledge base articles, and create/adapt training documentation/videos. Qualifications and Experience: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Development, or a related field is required. - 3 to 4 years of relevant work experience. - Good knowledge of installing/maintaining software for production processes. - Proficiency in root cause analysis and problem-solving techniques. - Experience in technical support, engineering, or similar roles. - Broad technical experience in computer architecture, microservices, network, database, Windows Server OS, virtualizations, web services, load balancers, caching, etc. - Knowledge of setting up/operating container-based systems (Docker or Kubernetes) in a private or public cloud such as Microsoft Azure. - Experience in an international work environment. - Strong communication skills in English are essential. Nice to have skills/experience: - ITIL certification - Foundation Level. - Knowledge of validation of computer systems. - Experience in laboratory or industrial environments with IT systems knowledge. - Experience as a field technician in industrial settings.
