With a global presence and numerous prestigious awards, Angara is a leader in handcrafted colored gemstone and diamond jewelry. Your role will involve leading the design, development, and optimization of recommendation systems using AI/ML techniques, optimizing the cart and checkout funnel, driving the creation of promotions engines, and collaborating with various teams to deliver personalized user experiences. **Key Responsibilities:** - Lead the design, development, and optimization of recommendation systems using AI/ML techniques such as collaborative filtering, content-based filtering, matrix factorization, deep learning, and real-time data processing. - Optimize the cart and checkout funnel using personalization, behavioral insights, and continuous experimentation, including A/B testing and UX improvements, to increase conversion rates and reduce abandonment. - Drive the creation and continuous improvement of promotions engines that leverage AI/ML to deliver targeted, dynamic promotions and offers. - Utilize Customer Data Platforms (CDPs) collaboratively with engineering, central analytics, marketing, and other stakeholders to enable onsite real-time personalization across all funnel stages. - Apply deep product funnel awarenessfrom Acquisition to Referralto tailor personalization and optimization strategies suited for each stage of the customer lifecycle. - Partner with engineering, data science, UX, marketing, and sales teams to deliver scalable, robust AI/ML-driven, personalized user experiences and funnel optimizations. - Advocate for responsible AI best practices including fairness, transparency, privacy compliance (GDPR, CCPA), and bias mitigation. - Communicate complex AI/ML and product strategies to technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure alignment and informed decision-making. **Ideal Candidate:** - Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related field; advanced degrees or AI/ML certifications preferred. - 7+ years of product management experience with AI/ML products, personalization/recommendation systems, CDP-driven initiatives, and ecommerce funnel optimization. - Expertise in AI/ML methodologies including supervised/unsupervised learning, reinforcement learning, NLP, and computer vision. - Deep knowledge of personalization, recommendation algorithms, promotions engines, and funnel optimization techniques. - Hands-on experience leveraging Customer Data Platforms (e.g., Segment, Salesforce CDP) for powering real-time personalization and analytics. - Familiarity with data pipelines, ETL, APIs, real-time processing, and data governance principles. - Proven track record of managing end-to-end product roadmaps, Agile delivery, and user-centric design. - Data-driven decision-maker with experience in A/B testing, analytics, and performance measurement.
