Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Product Strategy & Roadmap

• Define and own the product roadmap for trading applications, focusing on retail and professional traders in Indian markets.
• Identify and prioritize features aligned with business goals, customer needs, and regulatory requirements.

• Feature Ownership & Execution

• Lead end-to-end product lifecycle for assigned features/modules from concept, design, development, launch, and post-launch iteration.
• Work closely with engineering, design, and QA to ensure timely and high-quality delivery.
• Drive usability and seamless trading experience across mobile and web platforms.

• Domain Expertise

• Leverage strong knowledge of Indian stock markets, order types, settlement cycles, margin requirements, and compliance (SEBI, NSE, BSE regulations).
• Deep understanding of retail trading platforms, order management systems, risk management, and algo-trading basics.

• Stakeholder Collaboration

• Partner with cross-functional teams (engineering, operations, risk, compliance, marketing) to deliver impactful solutions.
• Engage with clients, brokers, and internal stakeholders to gather insights and validate features.

• Metrics & Performance

• Define success metrics (e.g., order volume growth, reduced drop-offs, improved customer engagement).
• Monitor feature performance and iterate quickly based on feedback and analytics.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• 5-7 years of total experience

  , with

  at least 2 to 3 years in Indian stock market domain

  (working with exchanges, brokers, or fintechs).
• Prior experience owning/launching

  features in trading or broking applications

  (mobile/web).
• Strong understanding of

  Indian equity, derivatives, commodities, mutual funds, IPO, margin trading, and settlement process

  .
• Excellent product management skills requirement gathering, roadmap definition, writing PRDs, backlog prioritization, and agile methodologies.
• Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret trading data, user behavior, and performance metrics.
• Strong communication skills to work effectively with technology and business stakeholders.
• Hands-on experience with tools like

  JIRA, Confluence, Figma, and product analytics tools

  is a plus.

Good to Have

• Experience in

  retail trading platforms, portfolio management tools, or wealth-tech products
