Senior Product Designer-Automotive

Job Description

Role Summary: We are seeking an experienced automotive product designer to lead the creative development of both exterior and interior vehicle concepts. You will be involved from early ideation through to design freeze, working cross-functionally with engineering, clay modeling, and studio teams to bring future-forward vehicles to life.Key Responsibilities: Develop and refine vehicle exterior/interior concepts from sketch to production-ready design Translate ergonomic and HMI requirements into compelling design solutions Lead design reviews using physical models, digital visualization, and VR Coordinate with surfacing, clay modeling, and engineering teams throughout the development process Prepare comprehensive design presentations and documentation for executive review Align design strategy with brand direction and global market insights Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelors/Master’s in Transportation Design or Industrial Design 5–6 years of experience at an automotive OEM or Tier-1 design consultancy Strong portfolio demonstrating production-oriented exterior/interior design projects Proficiency in Siemens NX, Alias, Blender, or Rhino, and Adobe Creative Suite Solid understanding of automotive ergonomics, proportions, and packaging Excellent communication and team leadership skills
