Job Description

Role Summary: We are looking for a skilled 3D Modeler & Visualizer to create high-quality, class-A surfaces and realistic visualizations for vehicle design programs. This role bridges industrial design and engineering by developing production-feasible CAD models and compelling visual assets for internal and external stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: Generate class-A automotive surfaces using Siemens NX based on design input and scan data Refine CAD models through iterative collaboration with designers and engineers Create photorealistic renders and animations for design reviews, marketing, and launch support Set up scenes in KeyShot, Blender, or VRED with accurate lighting, materials, and HDRI environments Optimize models for VR/AR reviews and real-time engines (e.g., Unreal Engine) Maintain data structures for models, materials, and environment assets Required Skills & Qualifications: Degree in Transportation Design, Industrial Design, or Mechanical Engineering 56 years of experience in 3D modeling for automotive applications (interior/exterior) Proficiency in Siemens NX surfacing; experience in Alias or ICEM Surf is a plus Strong rendering skills in KeyShot, Blender, VRED, or similar tools Understanding of manufacturing constraints and design-to-tool feasibility Demonstrated portfolio with full-vehicle surfacing and visualization work
