About the Team:

The Senior Procurement Operations Manager reports to the VP of Finance and will partner closely with Finance, Legal, Security as well as our functional leadership to drive operational excellence and optimize the business impact of the goods and services we procure. We re looking for a procurement operations manager that can design for our future while rolling up their sleeves to help us operationalize our vendor management and procurement processes today.
What you ll be doing:
    • The Procurement Operations Manager will be responsible for day to day management of our sourcing and vendor management processes; establishing, tracking and driving KPIs, and creating a roadmap for world class procurement operations.
    • Responsible for building a strategic sourcing discipline and procurement operations.
    • Working with our business partners and vendors to negotiate cost-effective contracts with key supplies, and supporting business partners in their evaluation of procurement options.
    • Evaluate sourcing procedures and present improvement strategies to senior management.
    • Establish and implement processes for monitoring SaaS renewals timely.
    • Analyze and calculate procurement costs and develop cost reduction strategies.
    • Evaluating contract terms in concert with Legal to establish favorable terms for the company that mitigate contract risk.
    • Managing SLA s between business partners, Finance, Legal and Security for the timely review of all vendors and contracts.
    • Developing processes to support overall vendor management including security reviews.
    • Maintain key strategic sourcing relationships and develop strong partnerships.
We re looking for:
    • Sound knowledge of vendor management, negotiation strategies and experience in a similar role.
    • Proven experience securing favorable pricing and terms with major SaaS vendor categories (e.g. CRM, HRIS, ERP, etc.).
    • Experience building and maturing a procurement operations function.
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
    • Bachelor s degree or equivalent from an accredited institution preferred; will also consider progressive experience and senior leadership experience in procurement operations in lieu of degree.
    • 8-10 years of experience in business operations, finance or procurement; 4+ years of experience in procurement related activities.
    • Specialized certification in supply chain - CPSM / CIPS a differentiator.
    • Experience with SaaS procurement and managing SaaS license renewals required.
    • Skills in RPA and automation leveraging internal and 3rd party applications.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Highly adaptable team player.
    • Extremely organized, Strong attention to details, Problem solving abilities.
    • Experience in G-suite and/or MS Office required; experience in other project management and workflow tools (Jira, Asana, other procurement tools) preferred.
    • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
    • Previous experience building procurement operations functions and supervising teams.
