Senior Process Engineer

As an engineer at Carbon Clean, you will be engaging in active design and development projects globally for novel carbon capture technologies. You will collaborate with other engineering disciplines, equipment suppliers, and the Research & Development team throughout the projects, from the concept phase to fabrication. Key Responsibilities: - Lead studies and design packages from concept to commercial carbon capture products - Conduct process design, optimization, and support through developing simulations - Lead the development of engineering deliverables such as H&MBs, PFDs, P&IDs, Process Descriptions, and basic equipment designs for carbon capture plants - Focus on innovation, process improvement, and technical excellence - Support pilot plant demonstration tests to validate technology performance in various industries Qualifications Required: - Bachelors Degree in Chemical Engineering - Experience in engineering organizations, preferably in process licensing - Experience with FEED/Basic Engineering Package - Knowledge and experience in carbon capture technologies, especially amine-based flowsheets - Proficiency in working with and developing process simulations - 8+ years of total full-time work experience - High technical fluency with effective verbal and written communication skills - Knowledge of gas separation technologies used in gas processing, gasification, carbon capture, or industrial gas processes - Experience in developing novel solutions into commercial designs, ideally being an inventor on a patent(s) - Ability to work effectively in a small, developing, and entrepreneurial organization, requiring a high level of flexibility and adaptability - Strong relationship building skills, especially across a dispersed, multi-disciplinary team In addition to the above requirements, the company offers benefits such as: - Opportunities for personal and professional development in a rapidly growing company - A culture that promotes excellence, ownership, flexibility, and care - Great workplaces with excellent facilities and perks for collaboration with like-minded colleagues - Flexible working arrangements, including a hybrid approach and the option to work from anywhere globally Additional Company Details: - 24 days of leave per annum, plus 10 gazette public holidays - Private Healthcare coverage for you and your family - Group Life Insurance - Employee Assistance Program (EAP) and Wellbeing programs - Individual training budget tailored to your personal development - Funding support for professional memberships - Breakfast and lunch provided in the office - Inclusive culture where everyone belongs at Carbon Clean The company values diversity and encourages candidates who meet most of the requirements to apply.
