Role & responsibilities The suitable candidate will have a strong background in Mechanical Engineering within the EPC and process industry. A Candidate with Chemical and/or Process Engineering degree will be considered if they have the relevant EPC experience. Main duties: Review documents provided by Customer / Contactor / for EPC enquiries / contracts. Isolate datasheets & relevant portions of bid document applicable to BS&B Rupture Disk Device, Flame-Saf and other BS&B products. Read the customers technical requirements and arrange it in a presentable format for sales team to review to aid in product selection. Tabulate complete scope of supply per quote/project incorporating specific materials and grades, NDE requirements, paint, shipping preparations, etc., with specification references, and all client requested requirements for presenting to sales. In close co-ordination and consultation with Regional Sales Manager (EMEA & APAC) production of final quotation/Bid packages for submission. This may also include online tendering or other tendering methods. Tabulate comments, exclusions, and exceptions to client specifications relevant to Technical Bid, Commercial Bid, or order confirmation package for presenting to sales. Liaison with International Engineering organization with regards to product costing, modification, special requirements, non-destructive testing, etc. Act as the technical support link between Engineering & Class III Sales. Required to handle several projects at once. Flexible to work in differing time zones of EMEA & APAC, based project demands. Preferred candidate profile Essential Requirements: 5 years + experience in handling turnkey EPC contracts. Experience with pressure relief devices, valves, pumps, pressure, and piping systems. Should have an engineering degree or equivalent ideally with a mechanical / technical background. CAD skills not mandatory but would be advantageous (AutoCAD / Inventor). Excellent communication (written and verbal English), and presentation skills. Ability to articulate & converse well with RSMs & customers. Possess excellent project management skills. Background in writing up / reviewing contract docs and / or contract negotiations essential. High level of computer literacy, good analytical skills essential. Self-starter, with the ability to work on own initiative Customer & Team orientated.

They will have previous technical sales administration experience and/or experience in industrial (petrochemical, chemical, pharma, food) processing, piping, valve, and associated industries. Fluent English written and spoken. A degree in mechanical engineering preferred. 3+ years experience relevant to inside sales/pricing/estimation/quotation processing/EPC contracts/Post Order documentation within valves, pumps, chemical, process, mechanical industry. Review and approval of alternates/scope change during the execution of the project within the budgeted cost and with minimal delivery impact Managing the general code standards and company engineering Specification. Management, technical execution, and completion of engineering assigned tasks in a specific process discipline area. Checking and approving all the Process documents, Process Internals drawings and some of Mechanical drawings Develop Process Design, simulation and optimization using of major process simulation programs Preparation, Reviews and Approvals of BFDs PFDs, P&IDs and Cause & Effect Diagram. Carry out Equipment and Line sizing calculations, Preparation and Review of Data sheets. Preparation and Review of Equipment List and Line List. Preparation of Equipment Specification and RFQ for the package Vendor Provide detailed process engineering input during all design phases including interpretation of standards. Participating in plant pre commissioning, commissioning and start-up as well as plant performance tests. Review any process design work carried out by third parties (vendors), and to participate in, and in some instances lead from company for, HAZOPs. Preferred candidate profile Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in Chemical Engineering Experience: 10 + years of experience in process design and simulation in the Oil and Gas design field within a large industrial organization.
