Job Description

Role Overview: You will support the day-to-day activities of the wider Premium Processing (PP) team to ensure the delivery of an effective and high-quality PP service for the business. It is crucial to ensure the team meets agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) by completing work accurately and timely. Key Responsibilities: - Act as a referral point for Junior Technicians - Conduct Quality Control Checks for the wider team - Provide feedback and training to junior technicians post Quality Control Checks - Process Complex accounts within the function - Ensure the team has the necessary knowledge, skills, and cultural requirements for the role - Assist in delivering service to agreed SLAs & KPIs - Build and manage relationships with key internal and external stakeholders - Work on PP related projects such as transformations, transitions, MI improvements, and system enhancements - Support the Premium Processing team leader, IBA, and the business to achieve business results and SLAs - Coordinate input to external Audit and regulatory exercises as required - Adhere to company compliance, policy, risk management, and audit requirements - Complete training and assessment exercises as assigned Qualifications Required: Must have: - 3+ years working within the commercial insurance industry - 3+ years experience in insurance broking industry or supported by professional insurance qualifications - 3+ years experience in a premium processing team - Good understanding of London Market Specialty insurance - Good understanding of the end-to-end insurance placement process - Good communication skills (written and verbal) - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Very good knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint) Preferred: - Practical knowledge of FCA GI regulation, ideally with London Market and MGA experience - Knowledge of relevant regulation/legislation such as GDPR and IDD - Professional Insurance industry qualification is a plus - University degree graduate - Basic understanding of risk management principles - Experience in working with automated assisted processes - Awareness of Quality Standards - Strong relationship building skills About the Company: Mphasis applies next-generation technology to help enterprises transform businesses globally.
