Senior Principal Engineer - IT Quality Assurance Analyst

We are seeking a talented individual to join our MMC Tech at MMC Corporate This role will be based in PuneLocation . This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Salesforce QA Tester with hands-on experience in Certinia (formerly FinancialForce) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for testing Salesforce applications, including Certinia modules, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, reliable, and scalable solutions. You will work closely with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to validate functionalities, identify issues, and ensure the overall quality of our Salesforce ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities:

• Minimum 8+ years of proven solid experience in executing comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for the Salesforce application. Having experience on Certinia is desirable.

• Perform functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing to ensure the application meets business requirements and quality standards.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and business analysts, to understand application features and requirements.

• Identify, document, and track defects using appropriate tools, ensuring timely resolution and retesting.

• Conduct performance and load testing to assess application scalability and reliability.

• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability and quality aspects of the application.

• Maintain and update test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and defect reports.

• Automate testing processes where applicable to improve efficiency and coverage

What you need to have:

• Bachelor s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.

• At least 8+ years of QA/testing experience in Salesforce environments with minimum 3 years in Certinia (Financial Force) modules and integrations.

• Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, data model, and security model

• Knowledge of Salesforce Lightning, Visualforce, Apex, and Lightning Web Components (LWC)

• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

• Proficiency in testing automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JUnit)

• Experience with performance testing and security testing.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Experience with defect tracking tools such as Jira, ADO, or similar

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.

Preferred Skills:

• Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Certified Administrator, Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder, or Salesforce Certified Platform Developer etc.

• Experience with other CRM platforms or ERP systems.

• Knowledge of data migration and integration testing.

• Ability to write SQL queries for data validation.

Eligibility:

• Minimum 12 months experience as a Senior Principal Engineer/Manager
• Should have at least On Track or equivalent rating in last appraisal
• Should not be under any Performance Improvement Plan, or had any official Disciplinary action within the last 3 months
• Should not have applied for any other IJP within Mercer in the last 3 month
