As a Senior Power BI Developer with expertise in Azure, your role will involve designing, developing, and deploying interactive Power BI dashboards and reports to meet business needs. You will be responsible for developing, optimizing, and maintaining data models in Power BI to ensure efficient performance and scalability. Additionally, you will integrate Power BI with Azure data services and work closely with business analysts and stakeholders to deliver tailored BI solutions. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and deploy interactive Power BI dashboards and reports. - Develop, optimize, and maintain data models in Power BI. - Integrate Power BI with Azure data services (e.g., Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse Analytics). - Work closely with business analysts and stakeholders to understand requirements. - Ensure data integrity, security, and privacy by implementing best practices. - Create and optimize DAX queries to support complex calculations and aggregations. - Utilize Power Query (M language) to clean, transform, and load data. - Manage and troubleshoot Power BI services-related issues. - Implement Power BI Embedded solutions and integrate with web-based applications. - Participate in data migration projects from on-premises systems to Azure-based solutions. - Create and maintain comprehensive documentation related to BI reports and data models. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve BI practices and reporting capabilities. Qualifications: - 5+ years of hands-on experience with Power BI development. - Strong expertise in Azure services like Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse Analytics. - Proficiency in SQL and T-SQL for data extraction, manipulation, and optimization. - Deep understanding of data warehousing concepts and architecture. - Experience in data modeling, ETL processes, and integrating with various data sources. - Knowledge of Power BI service, workspaces, gateways, and Power BI Embedded solutions. - Experience with Power Query (M) for data transformation and integration. - Familiarity with version control tools for managing Power BI artifacts. - Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines to streamline development and deployment processes. - Excellent communication skills to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
