Senior Power BI Developer

As a Principal BI Developer at Cognex, you will play a crucial role in working with business stakeholders and performing all development-related activities using Power BI. Your responsibilities will include requirements gathering, design architecture, development, unit testing, implementation, documentation, and support. To excel in this role, you must showcase proficiency in Data Warehousing concepts, utilize various Data Sources like SAP BW4HANA, adhere to global standards, and propose architectural enhancements. Key Responsibilities: - Independently deliver Reports/Analytics by collaborating with business stakeholders to gather requirements, design solutions, develop, test, document, and support - Establish and maintain effective relationships with the company's SAP applications owners, IT Infrastructure team, and Server/Network team - Foster strong partnerships with the Business to drive value through Data and Analytics Qualifications: - Demonstrated expertise in Power BI - Solid understanding of Databases, structures, and data modeling - Proficient Troubleshooting skills in performance, data accuracy, load failures, and technical issues - Sound knowledge of Power BI system architecture - Proactive in identifying opportunities to innovate using technology and information - Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities - Effective organization and time management skills, capable of adapting to rapidly changing priorities - Collaborative team player with the ability to work independently and cross-functionally - Good verbal and written communication skills Minimum Qualifications: - Bachelors Degree and 5+ years experience in Information Systems or a related field - Thorough knowledge of Power BI, Data Modeling techniques, and solution design - Experience in implementation, support, and performance monitoring of Power BI - Preferably hold a Power BI certification Please note that AI/Data Science thought leadership is encouraged within the organization.,
