Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior PHP Developer to join our dynamic and fast-paced development team. The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in PHP development and a passion for writing clean, scalable, and secure code. The role demands proficiency not only in backend PHP development but also working knowledge or hands-on experience in front-end frameworks (React/Angular), at least one additional backend language (Java/Python), and strong database and DevOps knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:

* Design, develop, test, and maintain robust and scalable web applications using PHP (Laravel, Symfony, or other frameworks).

* Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.

* Develop and consume RESTful APIs and microservices.

* Design, implement, and maintain MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or similar databases.

* Work with DevOps tools and practices including CI/CD pipelines, Docker containers, and Kubernetes for deployment and automation.

* Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code, following coding standards and best practices.

* Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.

* Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects and production issues.

* Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, UI/UX designers, and QA.

* Maintain documentation for features, APIs, and technical designs.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

* Minimum 5 years of experience in backend development using PHP (Laravel, Symfony, CodeIgniter, etc.).

* Strong knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming, MVC architecture, and SOLID principles.

* Proficiency in at least one frontend framework/library: React.js, Angular, or Vue.js.

* Working knowledge of Java or Python and ability to integrate them into solutions when necessary.

* Experience with RESTful API design and implementation.

* Strong experience with relational databases: MySQL, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server.

* Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

* Version control using Git and experience with branching strategies (GitFlow, trunk-based).

* Understanding of security principles, performance optimization, and scalability.

* Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.

* Strong verbal and written communication skills.

* Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team environment.

Preferred Qualifications (Good to Have):

* Exposure to Microservices architecture and message brokers (e.g., RabbitMQ, Kafka).

* Experience with Unit Testing and Test-Driven Development (TDD).

* Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

* Experience with GraphQL or gRPC.

* Knowledge of container orchestration and service mesh technologies.
