Senior PHP Developer

Job Title: Senior PHP Developer Location: On-site Employment Type: Full-time About the Role: We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior PHP Developer to join our development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality web applications, ensuring performance, security, and scalability. You will also mentor junior developers and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver robust software solutions. ⸻ Key Responsibilities: • Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable PHP-based applications. • Write clean, well-structured, and reusable code following best practices. • Work with frameworks like Laravel/CodeIgniter/Symfony (as per requirement). • Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services. • Optimize application performance and troubleshoot issues. • Collaborate with designers, project managers, and other developers to deliver projects on time. • Mentor junior developers, conduct code reviews, and enforce coding standards. • Stay updated with the latest trends, tools, and technologies in PHP and web development. ⸻ Required Skills & Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (or equivalent experience). • 5+ years of professional experience in PHP development. • Strong proficiency in PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery. • Hands-on experience with Laravel (preferred) or other modern PHP frameworks. • Experience with API integration, Microservices, and Web Services (REST/SOAP). • Familiarity with version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and Agile methodologies. • Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) is a plus. • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills. • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
