Description
Job Requirement: • Ten plus (9+) years industry experience in networking environment. • Certified technical engineer (typically CCNP, CCIA, CCDA, CCSA, CCSE, or any Security certification or comparable, no CCNA certification); • In-depth hands-on experience with common network hardware including ACI, Data Center Cisco router, switches, firewalls etc., together with other preferred technologies. • Excellent technical ability to plan and build new network environment. • Excellent technical ability to prepare, document and deploy changes in a network. Qualification: Any Technical Graduate with cisco expert level certification. Desired Experience: • Technical ability to understand the issues related to day-to-day operations; • Full understanding of ITIL and service management principals; • Excellent ability to follow documented deployment processes; • In-depth and hands on experience in complex LAN/WAN, MAN, DWDM, SONET architecture; • Full understanding and operational knowledge of loop prevention protocols like spanning tree protocols; • In-depth knowledge of L2 protocols like HSRP, VRRP, VTP, 802.1Q, Flex Link, LACP, etc.; • In-depth working knowledge and troubleshooting of IP routing and network protocols (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, RIP, spanning tree, multicast etc.); • Full understanding of operational knowledge for troubleshooting of Cisco operating systems like IOS and NX-OS; • Good ability to analyse and troubleshoot network issues with a network sniffer like Wireshark; • In-depth working knowledge of IPT implementation and troubleshooting; • Full understanding of firewalls & different deployment architecture; • Complete understanding of network security concepts; • Strong understanding of sniffer & how to use the sniffer for troubleshooting purposes; • Complete understanding of proxy servers and virus walls scan engines • Strong experience with change request management systems; • Strong experience with network monitoring / management tools/ analysis tools; • Competence with testing tools and procedures for voice and data circuits; • Strong experience with liaising with carriers and vendors for installations • Service management expertise and ability to manage, improve service levels; • Excellent analytical skills to evaluate problem • Strong technical ability to troubleshoot and solve highly complex IP networks and hardware • Able to conduct research into networking issues and multiple products Show more Show less
