Job Title: Senior Network Engineer

Job Purpose

To lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of the school’s IT network infrastructure, ensuring secure, reliable, and high-performance connectivity across all academic and administrative systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and manage LAN/WAN, routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless networks.
• Oversee network performance, uptime, and security protocols.
• Implement and monitor cybersecurity measures, backups, and data recovery plans.
• Manage IT infrastructure across multiple campuses (if applicable).
• Lead troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and preventive maintenance.
• Supervise junior IT staff and coordinate with vendors and service providers.
• Support digital classrooms, ERP systems, and CCTV/biometric integration.

Qualifications & Experience

• B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science, IT, or related discipline.
• 5–8 years of experience in network administration or infrastructure management.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, VLAN, VPN, DNS, DHCP, and firewall configurations.
• Certifications like CCNP / CCNA / Fortinet / Microsoft Certified Engineer preferred.
• Proven experience in network design, security, and multi-site management.
