Job Description

Ericsson India Global Services Pvt. Ltd. is looking for Senior Network Administrator to join our team

Manage and maintain network elements such as switches, firewalls, routers, load balancers, IPS, and related elements.
Perform software upgrades and hardware refreshes to ensure supported software levels.
Participate in maintaining IP addressing, network diagrams, traffic flows, and firewall policies.
Create Method of Procedure (MOP) documentation and coordinate proactive and reactive maintenance activities with change requests.
Troubleshoot operation issues and handle trouble tickets, recovering incidents.
Be on-call 24x7 to support escalations and outages.

Job Requirements

Experience with enterprise switching technologies including link negotiation, VLANs, trucking, inter-VLAN routing, port aggregation, and fault isolation.
Experience with enterprise routing technologies, including static and dynamic routing, routing protocols (OSPF and/or BGP required), and fault isolation.
Experience with VPN technology, including configuration, monitoring, and fault isolation.
Experience with packet capture hardware/software to support fault isolation.
Open to being on call outside of regular working hours as well as occasional nights and weekends.
Enterprise-level experience with security solutions such as IPSEC VPNs, SSL VPNs, IPS, etc., is preferred.
Hands-on experience with Extreme switches and F5 load balancer is needed.
Hands-on experience with firewalls, including Juniper & Palo Alto, is needed.
Hands-on experience with AWS and Azure cloud is a plus.
