Senior .Net Developer

As a Software Engineer in our Pune location, you will be responsible for participating in team prioritization discussions with Product/Business stakeholders and estimating and owning delivery tasks to meet business requirements. You will also be required to automate build, operate, and run aspects of software, drive code/design/process trade-off discussions within your team, report status and manage risks within your primary application/service, and drive integration of services focusing on customer journey and experience. Additionally, you will be performing demos/acceptance discussions in interacting with Product owners, understanding operational and engineering experience, actively working to improve experience and metrics in your ownership area, and developing a complete understanding of end-to-end technical architecture and dependency systems. You will also be driving adoption of technology standards and opinionated frameworks, reviewing coding, test, and automation work of team members, and identifying opportunities to improve an overall process and trim waste. Your expertise should include previous experience in .Net Tech Stack - API Development, SQL Server DB, Windows Services, Command-Line execution of a .NET Program. You should be familiar with secure coding standards (e.g., OWASP, CWE, SEI CERT) and vulnerability management, and understand the basic engineering principles used in building and running mission-critical software capabilities. You should be able to perform debugging and troubleshooting to analyze core, heap, thread dumps and remove coding errors, and implement standard branching and peer review practices. Additionally, you should have skills in test-driven and behavior-driven development (TDD and BDD), understand internals of operating systems (Windows, Linux), implement efficient code using advanced design patterns, and author test code with smaller tests followed by contract tests at service level and journey tests at the integration level.
