Description
As a key member of the Micron Technology team, your role will involve collaborating closely with Design and other Development Engineering teams to develop specifications and technical features for various technical documents. These include Design Data Sheets, Advance/Production Data Sheets, Specification Addendums, Application Notes, Tech Notes, and Technical Collateral for customer training and enablement. You will be responsible for providing technical support to enable product acceptance and use from Sample through Qualification. This includes offering customer and factory support for Application Qualification, communicating technical needs, identifying issues, resolving problems, and conducting customer training on advanced error correction features and other advanced aspects. An essential part of your responsibilities will be the creation of datasheet specifications related to the next generation NAND interface and features. You will engage with internal and external teams to define and enable the usage of these features and solutions effectively. Additionally, you will be involved in performance modeling, benchmark definition, and measurement. Your role will also require you to provide technical failure analysis support both at the factory and in the field. This includes offering technical support for customer problem resolution, guiding application-oriented problem resolution, and providing training on new product features to various teams. To excel in this role, you should possess a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent, along with 5-10 years of experience working with NAND Flash/semiconductor memories. A solid background in high-speed I/O interface design or characterization is preferred. Effective communication, problem-solving, analytical, multitasking, and organizational skills are essential. Strong presentation skills, self-motivation, and enthusiasm will be key to success in this position. Your collaboration with various teams, including Design Engineering, Product Engineering, Architectural Engineering, and Marketing, will play a crucial role in developing products and features aligned with Marketing targets and target markets. By providing customer feedback, competitive information, and feature solutions that fit within product capabilities, you will contribute to the differentiation of Micron's NAND products from the competition.
