You are required to join our Infrastructure team as a Senior MySQL DBA & RHEL Administrator. Your role will involve managing and optimizing MySQL databases on RHEL platforms. Your responsibilities will include installation, patch upgrades, performance tuning, backup/recovery, replication, and troubleshooting. Key Responsibilities: - Perform installation, configuration, and patch upgrades of MySQL databases. - Manage and monitor MySQL databases for optimal performance, availability, and security. - Design and implement backup and recovery strategies to minimize data loss and downtime. - Set up and maintain replication, Data Center (DC) & Disaster Recovery (DR) synchronization. - Conduct database maintenance including index rebuilding, query optimization, and database tuning. - Proactively identify and resolve performance issues and bottlenecks. - Collaborate with developers, system administrators, and business stakeholders for efficient database usage. - Define and enforce database security policies and procedures to safeguard sensitive data. - Monitor and analyze database performance metrics and recommend improvements. - Plan and execute database migration and upgrade projects. - Troubleshoot and resolve database-related incidents promptly. - Maintain detailed documentation for configurations, processes, and troubleshooting steps. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in B.Tech / B.E / MCA. - Mandatory MySQL DBA Certification. In addition to the technical skills, you should possess strong communication skills to work effectively in cross-functional teams. You should be willing to work in shifts based on business needs and demonstrate a proactive approach with excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
