Senior MySQL DBA & RHEL Administrator

As a highly skilled Senior MySQL DBA & RHEL Administrator joining our Infrastructure team, your role will involve managing and optimizing MySQL databases on RHEL platforms. You should have hands-on expertise in various tasks such as installation, patch upgrades, performance tuning, backup/recovery, replication, and troubleshooting. Key Responsibilities: - Perform installation, configuration, and patch upgrades of MySQL databases. - Manage and monitor MySQL databases to ensure optimal performance, availability, and security. - Design and implement backup and recovery strategies to minimize data loss and downtime. - Set up and maintain replication, Data Center (DC) & Disaster Recovery (DR) synchronization. - Conduct database maintenance: index rebuilding, query optimization, and database tuning. - Proactively identify and resolve performance issues and bottlenecks. - Collaborate with developers, system administrators, and business stakeholders for efficient database usage. - Define and enforce database security policies and procedures to safeguard sensitive data. - Monitor and analyze database performance metrics and recommend improvements. - Plan and execute database migration and upgrade projects. - Troubleshoot and resolve database-related incidents in a timely manner. - Maintain detailed documentation for configurations, processes, and troubleshooting steps. Qualifications Required: - L2 Infra position with strong expertise in RHEL (Linux) and MySQL Database Administration. - B.Tech / B.E / MCA educational background. - MySQL DBA Certification is mandatory. In addition to the technical skills, you should possess strong communication skills, ability to work in cross-functional teams, willingness to work in shifts as per business needs, proactive approach, excellent problem-solving, and analytical skills.
