Senior Mobile Test Automation Engineer

In this role, you will be responsible for mobile and test automation using tools such as Appium and Selenium. Your main responsibilities will include: - Hands-on experience in Test automation using Java or other programming languages - Hands-on experience in Mobile Automation testing using Appium and Selenium - Experience in Test management tools like Qtest, Quality Center, or HPALM - Experience in Defect management tools like JIRA or any similar defect management tool - Hands-on experience in API Test / Debugging tools like Postman, Karate, SOAP UI, Rest Assured You should have solid experience in mobile test automation and debugging, with a minimum of five years of experience. You must possess the skills to identify the root cause of issues. This role involves daily production issues and troubleshooting, so you must be capable of debugging both mobile apps and APIs using tools like Postman. Technologies such as Perfecto and Espresso are niche in the market; however, you can learn them if you have a good foundation in debugging and testing. Excellent communication skills are essential as you will be working effectively across teams and coordinating with different stakeholders. Experience working in larger matrix organizations is preferred, as this role is not in a startup environment. The ideal candidate for this role should be able to challenge others, deal with difficult situations, take ownership of problems, and push back when necessary.
