As a Salesforce QA Automation Engineer, your primary responsibility will be designing, developing, and maintaining UI, API, and headless automation tests across various Salesforce clouds such as Sales, Service, and Marketing Clouds, CPQ Cloud, Communities, and custom Force.com apps. You will be required to thoroughly test CPQ features including pricing models, bundles, approvals, discounts, subscriptions, and multi-year pricing. Building and executing automation frameworks using Java, JavaScript, JUnit, TestNG integrated with CI/CD pipelines like Jenkins and GitLab CI will be a key part of your role. Utilizing tools such as Selenium, Provar CPQ, Playwright, Appium, Rest Assured, and Postman for UI/mobile testing and API testing is essential. In addition to this, you will be responsible for automating functional, regression, smoke, and performance tests using a combination of internal and open-source tools. Developing and maintaining test cases, preparing test data, capturing and logging defects automatically, and effectively tracking test progress are crucial aspects of your role. Collaborating closely with Agile development teams, participating in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, grooming, and retrospectives will be part of your routine. You will also be expected to use test management and bug-tracking tools such as JIRA, Zephyr, TFS, HPALM, HPUFT, Coded UI, Telerik, Selenium, Cypress, and Cucumber. To excel in this role, you should have a minimum of 5-7 years of experience in Salesforce QA automation, with at least 4 years focused on Salesforce CRM (Sales/Service/Marketing) and CPQ testing. A strong functional understanding of Salesforce platforms, including LWC components, Apex, SOQL, and integrations is required. Hands-on experience with UI and API automation, proficiency in Java, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS programming/scripting skills, familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins and GitLab CI, and solid problem-solving abilities to troubleshoot complex automation issues are essential. Moreover, having excellent communication skills and hands-on experience in an Agile team environment, a strong attention to detail, and a passion for continuous improvement in QA processes will be beneficial for this role.
