Senior Mobile Test Automation Engineer

Role & responsibilities

Java

• Hands on experience in Mobile Automation testing using

  Appium

  and

  Selenium

• Experience in Test management tools like

  Qtest or Quality Center or HPALM

• Experience in Defect management tools like

  JIRA

  or any similar defect management tool.
• Hands on experience in API Test / Debugging tools like

  Postman, Karate, SOAP UI, Rest Assured

• The candidate should have solid experience in mobile test automation and debugging, with at least five years of experience and requires skills to identify why issues occur
• This role involves daily production issues and troubleshooting, so candidates must be capable of debugging both mobile apps and APIs using tools like Postman.
• Technologies like Perfecto and Espresso are niche in the market hence, can be learned if the candidate has a good foundation in debugging and testing.
• The candidate must be a strong communicator who can work effectively across teams and coordinate with different stakeholders.
• The candidate should have experience working in larger matrix organizations, as the role is not in a startup environment.
• The role requires someone who can challenge others and deal with difficult situations, such as taking ownership of problems and countering when necessary
