Senior Mobile Test Automation Engineer

Must Have:

Mobile Automation: Appium (preferred), Selenium.

Test Automation: Java.

Test Management Tools: Qtest, Quality Center or HPALM

Defect Management Tools: JIRA, Rally.

API Testing/Debugging Tools: Postman, Karate or SOAP UI, Rest Assured

The candidate should have solid experience in mobile test automation and debugging, with at least five years of experience and requires skills to identify why issues occur

This role involves daily production issues and troubleshooting, so candidates must be capable of debugging both mobile apps and APIs using tools like Postman.

Technologies like Perfecto and Espresso are niche in the market hence, can be learned if the candidate has a good foundation in debugging and testing.

The candidate must be a strong communicator who can work effectively across teams and coordinate with different stakeholders.

The candidate should have experience working in larger matrix organizations, as the role is not in a startup environment.

The role requires someone who can challenge others and deal with difficult situations, such as taking ownership of problems and countering when necessary
