Job Description

As a Senior Merchandiser in the glass manufacturing industry, your role is crucial in managing the complete order lifecycle to ensure international buyers receive high-quality products on time. You will work closely with the production and sample teams, reporting to the Deputy Merchandising Manager to help maintain the company's reputation in the global market. Key Responsibilities: - Manage sample development, production, and dispatch of glassware products according to buyer requirements. - Coordinate with Sample Development and Production Teams for timely preparation of product samples. - Ensure accurate preparation of samples with correct specifications as requested by buyers. - Maintain detailed product sheets, order tracking sheets, and purchase order documentation accurately. - Track order status from confirmation to dispatch for timely delivery. - Prepare shipment documentation and collaborate with logistics partners for smooth dispatch. - Create high-quality presentations and product catalogs with accurate specifications for buyers. - Communicate directly with international buyers for sample approvals, order confirmations, and shipment updates. - Ensure accuracy in all communications and documentation to maintain product quality. - Assist in resolving order-related issues efficiently. - Maintain records of samples, orders, dispatches, and communications. - Report order status and production insights to the DMM. - Support in ensuring timely deliveries, excellent product quality, and strong buyer relationships. Key Skills & Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in any field. - 5-8 years of merchandising experience, preferably in manufacturing/export (Glassware industry experience is advantageous). - Strong understanding of export processes, sample development, production coordination, and shipment documentation. - Proficiency in MS Excel and relevant merchandising software. - Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. - Good understanding of product specifications and buyer-specific requirements. - Strong written and verbal communication skills, especially with international buyers. - Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. - Strong problem-solving abilities and a solution-oriented mindset. - Prior experience in preparing presentations and product catalogs for global buyers is a plus.
