As a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com), preferably from FDDI or NIFT, with specialized knowledge in leather and leather product design, you will be expected to have strong operational knowledge of leather goods manufacturing processes. Your proficiency in leather goods designing and related software applications will be crucial for creating innovative and marketable products. Your exceptional follow-up skills will play a key role in ensuring timely execution of tasks and orders, as well as customer satisfaction. Your fluent spoken and written English communication skills will be essential for effective coordination with all departments within the organization. Additionally, your proficiency in preparing product cost sheets and adept negotiation skills will contribute to maximizing profitability. Key Responsibilities: - Manage all aspects of merchandising for leather goods, including procurement, production planning, and delivery coordination. - Utilize strong operational knowledge to oversee and optimize the manufacturing process for leather goods. - Employ leather goods designing knowledge and related software to create innovative and marketable products. - Maintain excellent follow-up skills to track orders, resolve issues, and ensure customer satisfaction. - Prepare and analyze product cost sheets, and negotiate prices with suppliers to maximize profitability. - Collaborate effectively with internal departments such as design, production, and quality assurance to ensure alignment and efficiency. - Act as a liaison between the company and the allocated customer account, providing exceptional service and meeting all client requirements. - Stay updated with industry trends, market demands, and competitor activities to inform merchandising strategies.
