Position: Senior Area Manager

Job Summary

The Senior Area Manager is responsible for driving sales growth, establishing strong relationships with healthcare professionals, and executing company marketing strategies. This role involves fieldwork, product promotion, territory management, and guiding junior medical representatives when required.

Key Responsibilities

• Promote and detail company products to doctors, hospitals, clinics, and chemists/stockists.
• Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets for the assigned territory.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals.
• Conduct product presentations, CMEs, and participate in promotional activities.
• Ensure proper product availability and visibility at chemists and distributors.
• Analyze territory performance and create weekly/monthly sales reports.
• Plan and execute daily field calls, route planning, and doctor coverage.
• Monitor competitors' activities and market trends.
• Assist in training, mentoring, and supporting junior medical representatives.
• Coordinate with the sales manager for smooth implementation of marketing strategies.
• Maintain compliance with company policies and industry regulations.

Qualification

• Graduation in Pharmacy, Science, or related field (preferred)
• 3–5 years of experience as a Medical Representative in the pharmaceutical industry

Work Environment

• Field-based role involving daily doctor calls, chemist visits, and travel within territory.
• May require participation in conferences, CMEs, and marketing events.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
