Senior Mechanical Engineer

As a Mechanical Engineer at Aether Semiconductors, you will play a crucial role in our engineering team by designing, building, and testing electromechanical components. Your responsibilities will include supporting the full lifecycle of mechanical and electro-mechanical systems, utilizing CAD software for 3D modeling and drawings, designing components using various materials, and ensuring documentation adheres to SEMI standards and industry best practices for geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T). Additionally, you will conduct detailed analyses, feasibility studies, and test plans to validate design performance, prepare reports and technical presentations, collaborate with suppliers and internal teams, and provide technical guidance to junior engineers. Key Responsibilities: - Design, build, and test electromechanical components. - Support the full lifecycle of mechanical and electro-mechanical systems. - Use CAD software for 3D modeling and drawings. - Design components using various materials. - Ensure documentation adheres to SEMI standards and industry best practices for GD&T. - Conduct detailed analyses, feasibility studies, and test plans. - Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams. - Provide technical guidance to junior engineers. Qualifications: - Bachelors or Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. - Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical design, concept finalization, and simulation. - Proficiency in Ansys, particularly in thermal analysis. - Highly proficient in 3D CAD tools such as CREO, Siemens NX, ProE, SolidWorks, and others. - Hands-on experimental and design background coupled with solid engineering skills. - Prior experience in the semiconductor industry is highly preferred. - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
