This position is for the Chief Engineer role for the trucks program. You will be responsible for the overall technical execution, budget, timeline, and launch of the trucks. Your main responsibilities will include leading the overall truck programs, overseeing all aspects of the truck programs from a technical, budgetary, timeline, and launch perspective. It is essential that you have a strong understanding of overall truck integration, encompassing mechanical as well as electrical and electronics components. To be considered for this role, you should hold a BE degree with 12 to 18 years of automotive experience, primarily in the Truck domain. Additionally, candidates with an M.E., M.Tech, B.E., or B.Tech in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering are also encouraged to apply. In this role, you will be required to have a strong understanding of HV and LV systems, manufacturability, and budget management. You will be responsible for leading the end-to-end new product development (NPD) process, starting from concept development through to production. Your main focus will be on driving innovation by identifying and implementing new technologies and materials. It will be crucial to ensure compliance with automotive industry standards such as IATF 16949, ISO 9001, APQP, and PPAP. Managing project timelines, budgets, and resource planning for NPD initiatives will be a key aspect of your role. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including design, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain to coordinate efforts. Monitoring project progress, addressing risks, and ensuring timely product launches will also be essential tasks. Building strong relationships with customers and suppliers to understand their requirements and expectations will be a priority. Conducting market research and benchmarking to identify industry trends and competitive positioning will help drive decision-making. Additionally, providing technical support during customer discussions and presentations will be part of your responsibilities. Implementing and maintaining best practices in NPD processes, such as DFMEA, PFMEA, and DFM/DFA principles, will be crucial. Ensuring that all product designs meet quality, safety, and performance standards will also be a key focus. Collaborating with suppliers to source materials and components for new products, and ensuring design for manufacturability and cost-effectiveness in production will be important tasks. Supporting process validation and production ramp-up for new product introductions will also be part of your responsibilities. Your qualifications should include a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field, along with at least 8 years of experience in new product development, preferably in the automotive sector. Strong knowledge of APQP, PPAP, DFMEA, PFMEA, GD&T, and CAD tools will be required. Excellent project management, problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills are essential for this role.,

As a Package Design Engineer at Micron Technology, your primary responsibility will be to execute package design of DRAM designs on time with 100% quality. You will support the design of highly integrated packages to ensure optimal electrical performance, manufacturability, and reliability while reducing Turnaround time. Qualifications for this position include an Mtech in electrical engineering (preferred), Electronics or a related field covering a wide range of topics in mechanical engineering, materials science, or other interdisciplinary areas. Ideal candidates should have three or more years of industry experience, preferably 5+ years, in advanced memory substrate design, design optimization for Signal and Power Integrity, and proficiency in tools such as Cadence (Allegro Package Designer+), Siemens/MentorGraphics (Xpedition tool suite), and AutoCAD (Autodesk Mechanical). Effective communication skills, strong computer proficiency, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a multicultural environment are essential for success in this role. Additionally, candidates should possess the ability to prioritize and manage numerous projects successfully, along with a willingness to travel as needed.
