• Experience in

  textile machinery design

  special-purpose machine (SPM)

  development preferred

• Proficiency in

• Strong grasp of

  mechanical fundamentals

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and execute

  machine design and new product development (NPD)

  activities for textile machinery and sub-systems.
• Develop

  concept designs

  from functional requirements, performance targets, and customer needs.
• Perform

  detailed design calculations, simulations, and validations

  to ensure product functionality, strength, and reliability.
• Collaborate closely with

  Sales, Service, Production, and Testing

  teams to refine and validate design outputs.
• Conduct

  benchmarking and reverse engineering

  to identify design improvement opportunities.
• Engage in

  technology localization and customization

  of imported designs and components.
• Focus on

  product design and innovation

  not process or tooling design (e.g., jigs, fixtures, gauges).
• Support

  prototype manufacturing, assembly, and performance testing

  , ensuring design intent is met.
• Troubleshoot design-related issues and implement

  continuous improvements

  based on feedback and testing.
• Coordinate with

  suppliers and purchase teams

  for component development, validation, and design optimization.
• Interact with

  customers during trials and installations

  to gather insights for further refinement.
• Prepare and maintain detailed

  technical drawings, BOMs, and engineering documentation

  in accordance with standards.
