Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

SENIOR MECHANICAL DESIGN ENGINEER (7+ years)

Key Responsibilities:

• Create designs specific to their discipline, i.e., heating, ventilation, and air conditioning
• Utilize design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, Revizto or BIM tools) to produce detailed layouts and schematics.
• Develop sustainable and energy-efficient solutions that comply with regulations and environmental standards.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful delivery.
• Prepare technical reports, specifications, and calculations to support project needs.
• Ensure compatibility and functionality of various building services systems within the structure.
• Ensure designs meet local building codes, health and safety regulations, and environmental guidelines.
• Conduct risk assessments and provide solutions to mitigate potential hazards.
• Conduct design reviews, audits, and risk assessments to ensure the reliability and safety of designs.
• Stay updated on advancements in building technologies, materials, and energy solutions.
• Carry out detailed layouts, schematics, hydraulic calculations, reports, and specifications
• Coordinate closely with architects, structural, and MEP teams to ensure fully integrated designs.
• Support project planning, quality control, and provide technical guidance to junior team members.

Requirements:

• Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 7+ years of experience in GCC Projects.
• Software Skills: AutoCAD, ACC, Navisworks; Revit (preferred)
