Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

As a Conveyor Design Engineer at our company in Coimbatore, you will be responsible for designing and developing conveyor systems, mechanical structures, and related components using CAD software such as AutoCAD and SolidWorks. Your key responsibilities will include: - Designing and developing belt conveyor systems and other material-handling equipment for industrial applications. - Creating conceptual designs, layouts, and detailed engineering for conveyor systems. - Performing calculations for capacity, power, belt tension, pulley sizing, shaft design, and structural frame design. - Preparing GA drawings, fabrication drawings, assembly drawings, and BOM. - Conducting load analysis, strength analysis, and reviewing designs for accuracy and manufacturability. - Improving conveyor design efficiency, reducing material costs, and enhancing performance. - Researching and applying new materials, technologies, and design methods to optimize systems. - Understanding fabrication processes such as welding, machining, and structural steel work. - Providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers. - Maintaining clear documentation and ensuring quality standards in all design activities.
