Senior Manager US Accounting & Tax

Role Overview: As a Senior Manager in US Accounting & Tax, you will lead and manage a team of 50-100 professionals in the KPO industry. Your expertise in US GAAP, federal and state tax regulations, client relationship management, and team leadership will be crucial for this role. Your responsibilities will include overseeing and managing US accounting and tax operations for multiple clients, ensuring compliance with US GAAP and IRS regulations, maintaining relationships with US-based clients, driving operational efficiency, and staying updated on the latest changes in US accounting and tax regulations. Key Responsibilities: - Overseeing and managing US accounting and tax operations for multiple clients to ensure timely and accurate delivery. - Leading, mentoring, and managing a team of 50-100 staff, including team leads and accountants. - Reviewing financial statements, tax filings, and ensuring compliance with US GAAP and IRS regulations. - Maintaining strong relationships with US-based clients, providing strategic financial and tax guidance. - Driving operational efficiency, process improvements, and quality initiatives within the team. - Collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet organizational goals. - Staying updated on the latest changes in US accounting and tax regulations. - Handling escalations, audits, and ensuring risk management protocols are in place. - Supporting new client onboarding, transition, and knowledge transfer processes. Qualification Required: - In-depth knowledge of US GAAP, Federal & State Tax Laws, and IRS regulations. - Strong experience with tax/accounting software such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, Xero, ProSeries, Lacerte, etc. - Proven leadership and people management skills with the ability to manage large teams across functions. - Excellent client communication and relationship management skills. - Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving ability. - Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. - Experience in driving automation and process excellence is a plus.
