Senior Manager - Transportation

As a Transportation Strategy Manager, you will play a crucial role in developing and executing transportation strategies to achieve on-time delivery Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Your responsibilities will include: - Leading a cross-functional team to optimize network design and route planning using Transportation Management System (TMS) data, telematics, and predictive analytics. - Negotiating carrier contracts, fuel programs, and leasing agreements to secure competitive rates and Service Level Agreement (SLA) commitments. - Implementing compliance frameworks to address DGFT, RTO, and EHS regulations, ensuring zero-incident safety performance and audit readiness. - Reporting performance metrics, budget variances, and transformation roadmaps to senior leadership, recommending data-driven initiatives. Qualifications required for this role include: - 10+ years of progressive experience in transportation or supply chain management within large-scale Indian or big 4 companies. - Proven success in managing fleets of over 200 vehicles, multimodal operations, and 3PL vendors. - Expertise with TMS/WMS platforms, GPS-based telematics, and advanced Excel or Business Intelligence (BI) analytics. - Strong understanding of Indian logistics regulations, import/export documentation, and safety standards. - Demonstrated leadership and stakeholder management abilities across cross-functional teams.
