Senior Manager - Supply Chain Management

• Develop and implement supply chain strategies to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service levels.
• Oversee procurement processes to ensure timely acquisition of materials and services at competitive prices.
• Manage logistics operations to optimize transportation and distribution of products, ensuring timely delivery to customers.
• Monitor inventory levels and implement inventory management practices to minimize waste and maximize turnover.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, sales, and finance, to align supply chain activities with overall business goals.
• Analyze supply chain performance metrics and identify areas for improvement.
• Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers, negotiating contracts and managing performance.
• Lead and mentor a team of supply chain professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies that may impact supply chain operations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree is a plus.
• A minimum of 18 years of experience in supply chain management, with at least 10 years in a leadership role.
• Strong analytical skills and experience with supply chain analytics tools.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Familiarity with supply chain management software and technologies.
• Prior experience in PPC and Procurement of Steel and Aluminium business and procurement, Stores function (procurement of packing materials, oils, coolants, consumables).
• Prior experience in material planning, logistics management, inventory management, lean concepts, customer coordination and interactions.
