Job Description

As an individual contributor in this role, you will be responsible for managing both in-house and outsourced studies within specific therapeutic areas, ensuring adherence to BMS outsourcing strategies. Your main focus will be supporting clinical trial vendor partnerships across select or multiple service categories in R&D. Key Responsibilities: - Drive outsourcing activities by collaborating with operational teams, support groups, and service providers to successfully select, contract, and execute outsourced studies while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and ethical practices. - Ensure project success by meeting short-term objectives and adhering to project schedules. - Assist the Outsourcing team in various tasks related to outsourcing, alliance management, FSP operations, and financial/resource accountability. - Communicate with business partners and internal clients regarding contractual issues when necessary. - Provide operational expertise, support, guidance, and training to teams on all aspects of outsourced work. - Ensure team alignment with BMS outsourcing strategies. Qualifications & Experience: - Minimum of a BA or BS Degree in Legal, Life Science, Business Administration, or equivalent. An advanced degree is a plus. - 3 to 5 years of relevant industry experience in clinical development (pharma, biotech, CRO) is required. - Experience engaging with various suppliers in the clinical trials environment, such as Contract Research Organizations, Cooperative groups, Clinical laboratories, Core laboratories, ECG, and Imaging service providers. - Proven track record of effectively managing key internal and external stakeholders by seeking input and integrating feedback into processes. - Proficient in managing cross-functional, multi-cultural teams within a matrix structure. - Strong time management skills, capable of handling multiple priorities and driving new initiatives. - Demonstrated adaptability in navigating complex work environments and balancing multiple demands professionally. - Ability to deliver high performance consistently in a dynamic and evolving environment.
