Senior Manager Material Handling

As a Senior Material Handling Executive/Incharge, you will be responsible for overseeing daily material movement activities in the Stores/Logistics/Supply Chain department. Your main duties will include coordinating with various departments for timely material availability, monitoring inventory levels, ensuring accurate documentation and system entries, and maintaining proper material storage practices. You will supervise and guide material handlers, forklift operators, and store assistants while ensuring compliance with safety guidelines during material movement and storage. Additionally, you will handle non-moving, rejected, or surplus material and optimize warehouse layout and space utilization for efficient material flow. Your role will also involve generating and reviewing reports on material status, inventory aging, and shortages, as well as ensuring timely dispatch of finished goods and coordinating with logistics partners. You will participate in ERP implementation and usage for inventory and material tracking and train team members on SOPs, safety protocols, and proper handling techniques. Preferred experience for this position includes working in the electrical, electronics, or automotive manufacturing industry and being familiar with lean inventory practices and warehouse automation systems.
