Senior Manager-Maintenance

As a Production Manager in this role, you will be responsible for achieving SQPDCME targets at line & SDT level, training operators, and driving improvement initiatives on the production line. **Key Responsibilities:** - **Production Planning** - Prepare and arrange tools and equipment for production as per the defined plan - Check line readiness by testing equipment arranged by Technical Services - Ensure availability of raw materials for planned production mix - Ensure trained manpower availability - **New Product Development** - Drive compliance to station level readiness against the 120-point checklist - Arrange machines and equipment for testing new products - Provide inputs to Technical Services on line issues and create detailed action reports - **Process Quality Improvement** - Execute action plans based on customer feedback - Report line issues and implement improvements - Address daily line quality issues and work on WCQ principles and TQM initiatives - **Productivity Improvement** - Eliminate NVA and reduce ENVA through line balancing and initiatives - Implement kitting solutions for material movement - Coordinate for availability of indirect materials and tools - **Manpower Management** - Train operators on line skills and soft skills - Lead initiatives for performance readiness of flexi manpower - Coordinate with HR for training compliance - **Shop Health Management** - Provide TPM training to operators - Participate in cross-functional teams for cost minimization - **Safety Management** - Implement safety standards in production area - Ensure usage of Safety PPEs and minimum safety incidents - **Cost Management** - Provide inputs for annual shop production budget - Execute waste value initiatives - Track and control rejection, indirect material, and tools cost - **Other Initiatives** - Execute cost reduction actions through TCS - Participate in VAVE initiatives for cost reduction **Qualification Required:** - **Education:** B.E./B. Tech (Mechanical/Elec./EnTC/Paint Technology) - **Relevant Experience:** 3-8 years in Shop technology with sound technical knowledge of Production In this role, you will interact with internal stakeholders like PPC, Maintenance manager, Supply Chain, Stores, Quality Manager, Safety Manager, HR, and Technical Services.
