Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Oversee all legal and compliance matters related to real estate projects, land acquisition, and property development.
Draft, review, and finalize agreements, contracts, MoUs, JV agreements, sale deeds, lease deeds, and other legal documents.
Ensure compliance with RERA, Stamp Duty, Registration, and other statutory regulations.
Liaise with external legal counsel, government authorities, and regulatory bodies for approvals and dispute resolution.
Handle legal due diligence for land/property acquisitions and verify title documents.
Provide legal advisory support to management on business decisions and risk management.
Lead compliance audits and ensure company policies and procedures align with applicable laws.
Manage litigation, arbitration, and dispute resolution matters efficiently.
Mentor and guide the legal & compliance team.

Preferred candidate profile

Strong knowledge of real estate, property laws, RERA, and corporate compliance.
Excellent drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
Ability to manage multiple legal matters under strict timelines.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact with senior stakeholders.
Leadership ability to manage a legal team.
