Key responsibilities

Design Enhancement:
- Establish Interior Design vision and standards through comprehensive research of best practices in the Indian and international markets.
- Review interior designs proposed by external architects for apartment layouts, lobbies, and club areas to ensure consistent, customer-centric design.
- Assess relevant interior design concepts to address micro-market pain points and create differentiation in product offerings.

Strategic Projects:
- Identify inefficiencies in current interior design processes and propose strategic projects for pan-India impact to mitigate these issues.
- Prepare and present cost-benefit analyses to management for strategic project funding approval.
- Continuously assess regional competition to stay ahead and incorporate competitive insights into GPL s interior design strategies.
- Implement standardization of Interior Design practices across regions and projects, conducting periodic audits to maintain consistency.
- Collaborate with external consultants to optimize the club program and establish a standard library of designs and components.
- Should possess knowledge and understanding of building and finishing materials for various areas of project such as unit level , clubhouse, lobby etc
- In depth analysis of market offering and creating a palette of recommended materials along with costing
- Implementation and tracking of ongoing strategic projects such as Standardization in regions and projects to create consistency across all GPL regions

Interior Design and Customer Experience:
- Curate the pre-sales customer experience in marketing offices to ensure impactful project launches.
- Lead the design and experience strategy for clubs and amenities across projects to differentiate GPLs offerings.
- Create consistent experiences through uniform interior design in common areas across all projects.
- R&D and Innovation:
- Promote sustainability and advocate for net-zero developments by adopting best practices in interior design.
- Conduct ongoing research in real estate and related industries to identify design concepts, materials, and technologies that add value to GPLs business and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Drive innovation in interior design and execution at project sites to maintain GPLs position as a leader in the industry.
Who are we looking for?
Education
:
- Bachelors Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering or similar field. Masters degree is preferred
Experience:
- 12+ years experience in interior design, strategic planning and project management
- Strong knowledge of interior design principles, trends and materials
Skills:
- Design Software CAD, Revit, Sketchup, ArchiCAD
- Presentation Skills - PPT/InDesign or equivalent. Should possess a good layout design and composition skills for creating decks for management communication.
